SEO services that fix the engineering first

Search Engine Optimization is the practice of making a website easier for search engines to crawl, understand and rank, and easier for people to act on once they arrive. It covers three layers: the technical foundation, the content that answers a query, and the signals that establish authority.

Why this matters

Most SEO engagements stall in the same place. An agency produces a technical audit, hands over a spreadsheet of 200 findings, and waits for a development team that has its own roadmap. Six months later the crawl errors are still there and the content sitting on top of them has never had a chance to rank.

Mindheight has been shipping production software since day one, so the fixes get implemented rather than recommended. Render-blocking JavaScript, crawl budget wasted on faceted URLs, schema that never validated, Core Web Vitals failing on mobile: these are engineering problems, and our developers resolve them directly in your codebase.

Only once the foundation holds do we layer keyword architecture and content on top, because content published onto a broken crawl is money spent on something search engines cannot read.

Problems this solves

  • Ranking for your brand name and almost nothing else
  • Pages that are indexed but never served for the queries they target
  • A technical audit from a previous agency that nobody ever implemented
  • Traffic that arrives and leaves without converting

What SEO includes

01

Technical audit and remediation

A 147-point crawl covering indexation, redirect chains, canonical conflicts, render-blocking resources, structured data and Core Web Vitals. Our engineers ship the fixes; you receive the findings document either way.
02

Keyword and topic architecture

Queries grouped by intent and mapped to a page type that can actually satisfy them, arranged as hub-and-spoke clusters rather than a flat list of terms to sprinkle.
03

On-page and internal linking

Titles, headings, entity coverage and an internal link graph that moves authority to the pages meant to earn revenue instead of leaving it stranded on the blog.
04

Off-page and digital PR

Links earned through genuine coverage and industry citation. No private blog networks, no bought placements, nothing that has to be disavowed after the next core update.
05

Local SEO

Google Business Profile, NAP consistency across directories, location pages built on real service-area information, and review acquisition for businesses that sell within a radius.

How we run it

  1. Baseline

Current rankings, traffic, conversion rate and cost per lead recorded before anything changes. Every later claim is measured against this.

  2. Technical remediation

Crawl and indexation problems fixed first, because everything downstream depends on them.

  3. Architecture

Keyword clusters mapped to pages, gaps identified, internal linking planned.

  4. Content and authority

Pages published on schedule, links earned, coverage pursued.

  5. Measure and compound

Fortnightly readouts against the baseline, quarterly strategy resets.

What you end up with

  • A crawl that search engines can read end to end
  • Rankings for non-brand queries that carry commercial intent
  • An internal link graph that concentrates authority where it earns
  • Traffic that survives core updates because none of it was a loophole

Common questions about search engine optimization

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes register within weeks. Organic search is slower and more honest: expect early ranking movement around month two or three, and meaningful traffic change from month four onward. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either buying links or misreading the data.

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No, and neither can anyone else. Google does not sell placement and no agency controls the algorithm. What we commit to in writing is the deliverables, the measurement baseline and the reporting cadence, so you can judge progress against something concrete rather than a promise.

Can you work with our existing development team?

Yes, and it is often the fastest arrangement. We commonly take the technical and strategic layer and hand implementation specs to an internal team, or ship the fixes ourselves where that is quicker. The split is agreed in writing at the start.

What is the difference between technical SEO and on-page SEO?

Technical SEO governs whether a search engine can reach, render and index a page at all: crawl budget, status codes, JavaScript rendering, site speed, structured data. On-page SEO governs whether that page deserves to rank once indexed: titles, headings, entity coverage, internal links. Technical work comes first because on-page work on an uncrawlable page has no effect.
